Cinque Terre, 5 small coastal village in Liguria region, Italy. Riomaggiore, Manarola, Corniglia, Vernazza, and Monterosso. Cinque Terre is listed on the UNESCO World Heritage list. Monterosso and Vernazza are the most touristic among the the other villages. First thing to do when you get to Cinque Terre is buy a pass at Cinque Terre point so you get around from one to another village.

Cinque Terre well connected by train, you can easily move to another village by train with the Cinque Terre pass. But me, I did trekking from Monterosso to Vernazza, it took about one and half hour. Please note that you need to show the Cinque Terre pass when moving to another village. The view along the path is amazing. It's not an easy path if you never did hiking. The path from Monterosso to Vernazza is harder than from Vernazza to Monterosso.

It was a tiring day, but worth a lot. I rewarded my self two scoop of gelato after the trekking. Cinque Terre is the place that I really wanted to visit in Italy. I'm so happy that I can make it and I wish I can visit again next in the future.

How to get to Cinque Terre:
Take a train to La Spezia then connect to local train to Cinque Terre it will take about 30 minutes. The train stations in Cinque Terre are: Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore.
