Neuschwanstein from Marien Brücke

Finally I made it there! The place I really want to visit in Germany, it's Neuschwanstein Castle. I came early in the morning from Augsburg to get there. The castle is located in Hohenschwangau. As I expected, it's so beautiful. I'm glad that the weather was really nice that day, the sky was so bright and blue. I arrived around 11 am, I already reserved online ticket so I didn't have to queue at the ticket office. There are two castle in the area, the Neuschwanstein Castle and Hohenschwangau Castle.

My tour schedule was on 1 pm I got more than an hour to see around. It takes about 30 minutes walking from the ticket center to the castle. Alternatively, you can also ride a bus. I decided to go to Marien Brücke (Mary's Bridge) before Neuschwanstein. Marien Brücke is the best place to take picture of the Neuschwanstein Castle. I can't describe how amazing the view in words. It's one of the most beautiful places I've ever been in my life.

The admission ticket is about 12 euros to get to Neuschwanstein Castle.  The guided tour took about 30 minutes, and it's prohibited to take picture inside the castle. I didn't go to Hohenschwangau Castle as I need to catch the train to get back to Augsburg.

How to get there:

Take a train to Füssen Bahnhoft, I made my way from Ausgburg Hauptbahnhof and it took about one and half hour. From Füssen Bahnhoft take a bus to Füssen Hohenschwangau, the bus stop is just outside of the train station.
