Pesto Autentico Jakarta

What I really like from this restaurant is their welcome bread. It's a basket loaded with various freshly made Italian bread. Yes, typical Italian bread that use white flour unlike German style that mostly use dark flour. There were two kind of dipping oil, the one with herbs and my favorite with balsamic vinegar. As a starter I also got Margherita Pizza, who can resist freshly baked pizza from the oven? Well I can't! I love the pizza here, they have many to choose but the classic one with tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese was good enough.

Grilled Chicken with Polenta and Caramelized Onion - actually this is what my sister ordered, the chicken was nice and tender. I noticed that some people are not really into polenta, though most of the time it cooks just like mashed potato but it has slightly different texture. I prefer mashed potato all the way but polenta is good for you and great alternative for gluten intolerant.

Classic Tiramisu is a right choice to end up your meal whenever in Italian restaurant, the other choice could be a Panna Cotta. Tiramisu, the very famous Italian dessert made from mascarpone chesse, with layered spongecake that dipped into espresso.
