This is not the other dessert place in PIK area, I'm telling you that you really need to come here because they serve cute desserts that currently can't be found in any other place in Jakarta. Want some ice cream cone to go? North Pole has two options for you to choose, oreo cone and froot loops cone. I was a little confuse when about to choose the ice cream as they have pretty unique flavor such as Thai Tea, Bailey, Oreo, and Ferrero. If you need a guide, I will tell you that go for the Ferrero ice cream on Oreo cone.
Ferrero Waffle Pop (IDR 42.500) - consist of freshly baked waffle, corn flakes, vanilla ice cream, crushed Ferrero Rocher, and chocolate sauce. The chocolate sauce was sooo good, perfect match for the vanilla ice cream. If you're not in the mood for something chocolaty, they also offer some other flavor from the Waffle Pop series, from Apple Crumble to Durian.
When I was in Bangkok, I found out that there's a dessert place serve something exactly just like this Chick Affogato (IDR 35.000). Soft vanilla ice cream poured by thick espresso, what can be better? hmm coffee ice cream! Though they also offer AffogaTea which is vanilla ice cream poured by Thai tea instead of espresso. Well, but I prefer the classic Affogato flavor
This is the man of the match, NorthPole special menu, it's the Smoky Pan (IDR 68.000). It consists of 6 scoops of gelato, sorbet, and ice cream in a smoky pan accompany by whipped cream and fruity pebbles. My personal preference is the Thai tea flavor, one that rarely to find in other place.
Actually I'm not really into sweet things, but
I'm a fan of gelato and it was nice that here they make it just enough, not overly sweet, so I can enjoy more than a scoop.
North Pole also offer some savoury dishes such as pasta but one you should try is the Mozzarella Chicken Balls (IDR 32.000). Breaded minced chicken balls filled with mozzarella cheese, it's just lovely! Dip it into the tartar sauce or feel free to ask for chili sauce.
